Dr Jarrod Turner is the practice principal and a senior clinical psychologist. He has a bachelor degree in psychology, a first class honors degree in psychology, and a doctorate degree in psychology. Jarrod is a multiple published author in peer-reviewed journals on areas including the treatment of anxiety, behaviour analysis, and behavioural activation. Jarrod has presented his research and areas of interests on multiple occasions at national and international conferences. 
Jarrod  has taught, lectured, and coordinated psychology course unit study in the university setting. Jarrod has worked in the field of psychology in government organisations, non-government organisations, and private practice settings. He has worked with adults, children, families, and within the disability field. Jarrod’s doctoral research focused on psychotherapy intervention, in particular the application of behavioural analysis to the treatment of anxiety. 
Jarrod's study and knowledge of behavioural science, specifically behavioural analysis, provides him with the central philosophical and conceptual positions upon which cognitive and behavioural therapy (CBT) and its associated modalities (e.g., ACT, FAP, BA) are based, as well as the most well established approaches to the treatment of behavioural disorders in both children and adults. 
Jarrod works exclusively from empirically-established principles and evidence-based approaches. He also conducts formal psychometric assessments in the areas of cognitive, academic, developmental, and adaptive behavioural functioning using up-to-date and well established tests for children and adults.
